Securities Lending Service
Online access
Only authorized institutions (custodians etc.) can access the securities lending transaction system, but all users can see the following data, which are updated every day (fees are expressed on an annual basis, with capitalization compounded for the number of trading days):
- Open positions – BTC
Total stock of shares involved in securities lending transactions, enabling users to track daily changes in loans of each asset (allows retroactive searching).
- Registered loans
Total lending volume for each asset in the past fortnight. An important tool for investors to track securities lending and identify market trends . This page displays the number of contracts, the number of shares, loan values (in R$) and average fees (annualized) received by lenders and paid by borrowers. Note that fees paid by borrowers are higher as they include brokerage.
- Compulsory Loans – Fees
Average fee for all compulsory loans registered in the past month. This is used as a benchmark to ensure that offers involving excessively high fees are not chosen by the system for the purposes of automatic compulsory lending.
- Statistics
Current and historical statistics for the BTC System:
- Values (in R$) and numbers of loan transactions
- Investors (breakdown by type of investor, percent share of the total, and amount, in R$).
